The proposal

In the atrium I would like to use the silence of the mountains
and the frivolity of Tirol.
On the fl oor I want to place sculptures that look like enlarged
pebbles that have been rubbing against each other for a long
time. Some of the pebbles are solitaire others are in pairs.
Where these stones touch each other (in the pairs) they have
taken each other’s shape and fi t exactly like a 3-D jigsaw
puzzle. As if they have melted into each other like fl esh and
stayed in this embrace. In total there will be 12 stones, 3
pairs and 6 singles. The stones will be carved out of Pietra
Serena, a stone that has no veins, therefore can be used to
represent a larger scale. The size of the stones varies from
1.10 - 2.00 in length and 0.40 - 0.80 cm in height. The maximum
weight of 1 stone will be around 2000 kg. The stones will form
a landscape in the atrium. Silent as the mountains.
